Percy is a 17-year-old Chihuahua in Los Angeles, CA, who needs $1,680 for orthopedic surgery, for a fractured leg.

Percy was gift from a friend who's baby girl got pregnant unexpectedly. When our friend was giving away puppies, we saw Percy and immediately fell in love. His name Percy fits him so well. We don't know how we arrived at the name, but when we saw him, we just knew the name fit. He is our little 17 week old baby. Though he has only been in our life for a short time, he is our whole life now.

Percy is a ball full of energy. His favorite thing to do is destroy our 10 year old's Lego towers. He also loves to sleep in the hamper (which got us in this stiuation). His favorite place to sleep is in between our legs. He also loves to give kisses and jump into them. He also likes to purr rather bark.

My partner and I lost our jobs due to Covid-19 and we are still awaiting unemployment. Luckily, I was able to have enough to get the intial diagnosis, but am not affor the treatment.

Percy hurt his leg jumping in to the hamper. He was in excutiating pain, we could tell by the sceaming. The sounds brok our heart. We have taken him to the vet and he has a broken bone that needs immediate attention to prevent permanent damage. The bill also includes anethesia. Splinting and bandage.

First of all, he loves kisses. He loves to kiss your entire face. He likes to jump into the kisses. He will start at the end of the bed and get a running start into the leap to your face. We assume this is to make sure he gives the full effect of his kisses. He and our 10 year old have become more than best friends, they are brothers.
