Peter is a 4.5 years old Siamese who’s been with us since he was 8 weeks old. He lives indoors in a two bedroom apartment with me and my daughter, he is our only pet. He’s affectionate, playful, and vocal, always wanting to be near us. Peter is loved deeply and part of our family—his health struggles have affected deeply.

Peter strains to use the litter box up to 20 times a day, passing only small amounts and sometimes crying. He’s lost 1.5 lbs and vomited 5 times in 3 weeks. After 4 vet visits, X-rays, blood and fecal tests, antibiotics, B12, and cortisone shots, he’s being treated for possible IBD. More care, testing, and special food are needed. Vet bills total $982 so far.

Beautiful blue eyed Peter is a vocal , opinionated, affectionate boy who loves to cuddle, and when he’s ready for his two back rubs a day he’ll come and put his back left paw on your foot and meow that it’s time. He loves to sleep right next to either me or my daughter. I can’t have a plants because he eats them and he loves to climb curtains. I was not a cat lover until he came into our lives

Our financial need is because I am on fixed income from disability due to my own health issues. My daughter is a college student who works part-time between classes to do her best to help with Peter’s medical expenses. We desperately want to help him feel better.
