About this campaign

Petite came into our lives 13 years ago, we saw an ad for kittens in the penny saver (haha does anyone remember that). She currently lives with her two sons, Speckle and Tiny, one from each litter that she had and a younger brother who is a Siberian Husky, Logan. She loves to play wrestling with her youngest son and of course she always wins.

Petite loves playing in boxes, and taking naps under warm, cozy blankets and sunbathing in the yard every morning. She loves her personal space but she’ll come cuddle with us when we are watching tv. At night she likes sleeping by our feet during the summer and during winter she loves to sleep under the covers, curled up like a cinnamon roll.

This is an unexpected expense for our family. We lost our dad a couple years ago, and since then it’s only been the three is us, my mom my sister and I. Our pets are old and one of petites boys has diabetes so we also have to pay for his insulin and continuous treatments.

Petite was diagnosed with cancer. She has a tumor in her intestines which needs surgery to be removed. Following surgery she will need chemo to help with the recovery. Unfortunately, after this surgery we will only have her for one more year but we want to ensure that her last days with us are happy and she can enjoy her time sunbathing like she loves to do.

Petite is special because she’s helped us cope with life’s tragic events. The same year she came into our lives we were going through the loss of our grandma and my sister diagnosis with lupus. Petite is always alert and making sure her household is peaceful. If her boys start fighting, she’ll go separate them and bring order like the good mom that she is.
