Pexie is a 11-year-old Chihuahua in North Richland Hills, TX, who needs $5,000 for Eye Care.

This little Pixie belongs to Chris. He rescued three little ones. We are sad to say that last week one of the little ones had to be put down after having a stroke. Now we are here to help Pexie. Pexie was a rescue pooch. She is very loving and now needs our help. She is at the point where she cannot see and needs eye care.

Pexie is shy but as sweet as can be. She shares the bed with her owner Chris. She has her own bed in the living room and eats by herself in the evening. She prefers it that way. Pexie loves to lay out in the sun on a cool spring or fall afternoon. Pexie walks very softly, never complains and will give you love once she trusts you.

As with many, Chris lost most of his job due to Covid 19. He is a veteran and has worked hard all his life. He has given to people and to his country. Now I am asking on his behalf to help with getting Pexie the medical attention she needs. Pexie needs help.

Pexie has eye problems. She is attracted to Chris voice and has to be spoken to until she comes up to you. Pexie has been healthy other than her eyes going bad. It is sad to see her when she walks out of Chris's room because she is listening for his voice to call her to him. Chris has not found the doctor to fix Pexie's eyes but will start looking now.

Pexie was abused like a lot of pups when she was little. Even with that happening in her life, once she knows you are safe will lick you and wag her tail at you. Pexie will bow down to you and let you scratch her ears. She doe not bark. Unknow why. We can only think it is because of the abuse when she was little.
