About this campaign
Pez came into our lives 9 years ago. She was about 6 months old when we went to the shelter and she picked me, I did not pick her. She has 1. become one of my children but 2. she is my Emotional Support animal. She is at my side 24/7 when I am home. She knows when I am depressed or super anxious and she refuses to leave my side until I have calmed down.
She is absolutely adored by everyone in the house, she loves her 3 little humans. She absolutely loves curling up on everyone's chest or leg and loves a good love. She is an in your face kind of cat that will do anything for loves and attention, and she loves you unconditionally even when you make her mad about something.
This was an unexpected emergency on top of having to replace an air conditioner and having to use additional savings to allow my husband to go to his grandfathers burial. Saving Pez means everything to our family and my Emotional Health
On 08/13/2020 Pez came back in from outside and we noticed that she was limping and refusing to put weight on her leg. After a $400 vet visit and xrays we found out that her femur was dislocated from her pelvis and the 3 orthopedic vets that we have talked to has stated that she will need surgery to get the let back to normal. She is expected to make a full recovery with this surgery.
Pez is special to our family as she was our first rescue who chose our family but she also is an emotional support animal to me. She keeps me calm when I am anxious and she helps me from spiraling into a really deep depression. She is so calm and so loving to our entire family. She grew up with my kids and there is days where she would rather have their company more than mine or my husband.
