About this campaign
Philly is one of two dogs in our household. We have had him since he was 9 weeks old and he is now 6 years. He is our son's buddy who likes to play and sit on him all the time. Philly was rescued as a puppy after his owner unexpectedly passed away and has been spoiled rotten and loved so much ever since.
Philly follows our 1 year old around daily playing and protecting him. He loves to snuggle and thinks he’s a lap dog. Philly enjoys eating peanut butter and sitting underneath our son's high chair to catch any and all food that drops. He enjoys playing with his little sister who is a Lhasapoo and keep Philly's energy high and young.
We are down to one income right now unexpectedly and did not have any funds saved up. Due to COVID we lost our second form of income. We recently also had a car break down costing a lot in repairs.
Philly swallowed a pacifier whole causing an intestinal blockage. His primary vet Stonehenge did x-rays and sent us to the emergency vet center. They were able to do an ultrasound and concluded Philly needs surgery to have the blockage removed. Helping hands will be performing the surgery but Philly will need additional after care as well.
I truly believe Philly thinks he’s a human. He understand pretty much everything you say and loves to watch tv. I’ve never seen a dog so interactive and loving in my life. I’d you’ve met Philly you know how sweet he is. And how he loves to give wet kisses and sit in your lap. He’ll snuggle right on up next to you.
