About this campaign
Our sweet Phineas is 5 months old. We adopted him, along with his brother Nebula, on July 17, 2025. We came to know them through my daughter's friend, whose family had cared for them after rescuing their mother while she was pregnant. Phineas and Nebula have brought so much joy to our home. They are inseparable and spend their days playing, exploring, chasing and cuddling together.
Phineas, our healthy and lively kitten, has unfortunately ingested a foreign object. We are currently awaiting an ultrasound to determine the exact nature of the object and whether surgery will be necessary. He's presently at MedVet Santa Teresa hospital, on an IV and receiving continuous monitoring. We are hopeful for his recovery and are doing everything we can to provide the best care possible.
Phineas is sweet, playful, curious, and adventurous, and often leads Nebula in exploring and climbing. He's highly vocal and skilled at communicating through loud, drawn-out meows. He keeps us laughing with his twisted-pretzel sleeping positions, and warms our hearts with his routines of pawing before lying down. Most of all he is bonded with his brother Nebula who misses him very much.
This unexpected care for Phineas has presented a significant financial obligation we're unable to meet on our own. Any funds raised will pay off the loan I used to cover his hospital stay and labs. If surgery is needed, funds will allow us to provide that life-saving care.
