Phoebe is my beautiful standard poodle. I’ve had her since 4 months of age. She is now over 3 years. Phoebe filled a gap in my heart after I lost my 13 yo golden doodle to cancer. She is the sweetest dog ever and is always happy. She has a dog brother, Shepard whom she loves and two cats that are her constant companions. They are like a pack. Phoebe is loved and adored by my entire family.

After moving to a new home that Phoebe was unfamiliar with, she got out of the gate and bolted into the woods. For 12 entire days she was on the run through the forest. Today she was struck by a vehicle trying to cross the highway. I was located through her chip. She has suffered major injuries that will require surgery and is at Eastern Carolina Emergency Hospital. Good prognosis w/surgery

Phoebe is a very special member of our family. She is gentle, sweet and kind and loves each of my grandchildren. She patrols when they sleep over taking turns sleeping with them. She filled a gap in our lives left by the loss of an older pet. She is loved and adored by all of us, including her animal family of a German Shepard and two awesome cats. We’ve all been lost without her.

This unexpected major expense has come at a difficult time for me; having transitioned to a single income household. I have spent every day and multiple nights out looking for Phoebe. I have lost income as a result, but I would’ve done anything to get her home safely.
