I have had Phoenix since she was a baby. I got her as a companion for my 9 yr old son, who is diagnosed as twice exceptional (2e) with ADHD. My son has a hard time with relationships. I have 3 other children are 5 to 7 years older with two being in college. We all thought Phoenix would be great for Ezrah. Phoenix and Ezrah are the best of friends. Her being sick hurts him so much which hurts me.

A few days ago, I found out that Phoenix had an intestinal blockage that could kill her. The blockage is in her upper intestine. We found this out at our local vet New All Creature Pet Hospital. I was told that the surgery and medical care could be $5000-$7000.

Phoenix is so special. She is our cat dog. I have taught her to sit, off and come just like a dog. She talks alot. So, you can almost understand her when she yells Mom or says No. I am always asked if she can talk. She has brought no much light to our family and Ezrah. I would hate to loss my son's best friend because of my affordability.

My income as CA state employee & 2 kids in college, I cant afford to pay for the surgery and hospital stay. I have tried everything. I dont qualify for care credit, scratchpay or cherry. I am just trying to save Phoenix life. It is not Phoenix fault.
