Phoenix is a 4 month old Mix-Breed in Leander, TX, who needs $1,600 for Re-do Splint.

So Phoenix was originally going to be my son's dog that his dad got him. But when I went to go pick up my son from visiting his Dad and that's when I first saw him and my heart just started melting! Any other times or dogs I would see I would automatically say no! So that's how I knew Phoenix was different and he was the one for me. He is my second son! I don't go anywhere without him.

About two weeks ago Phoenix broke his back leg in 2 different places. The person who was watching him at the time wasn't aware the Phoenix was right behind him as he was walking thru the door and ended up closing the door on his leg. So I rushed home and took him to an emergency vet but they ended up transferring him to Austin animal center where they put his leg in a splint.

I strongly believe Phoenix was put in this world for me. I recently had a 2.5 year relationship end and if it wasn't for Phoenix then I would have never gotten out of bed. When Phoenix comes up to me and lays on me and we just lay there cuddling, that's when I'm 100% at peace and it feels as if I'm not even going thru this difficult time in my life. He truly does make all the pain go away.

A few months back I was laid off. So to make ends meet and try to stay afloat I got some personal loans and credit cards. Shortly after I found a job but then soon my relationship came to an end. I was left with all of the financial responsibilities with just one income.
