My sweet Picasso was given to me a a gift from one of my friends for my birthday just before I left the military. He was only a few weeks old and instantly won my heart he was small yet brave enough to stand up to my biggest dog(his favorite brother) a 130 lab/Great Dane. From the beginning we became close, I got the name Picasso because the first thing he chose to play with were my paint brush.

Picasso gives everyone there own type of attention, wether it’s me, my wife , our dog , or even his bunny that he love to care for he doesn’t like to leave anyone out he makes it a point to rub up against everyone first thing in the morning and on the weekends he knows to sleep by my side and wakes me up with morning kisses. He even has learned tricks in order to get what he wants.

I am currently the only one in the home making income due to the whole COVID 19 pandemic my wife has been out of work and I have had to take care of all the finances. This has come to as an unseen experience and we have no emergency funds. I would give anything for him.

Yesterday I woke up to find Picasso had vomited out all his food and was not moving around much, I cleaned him up just the way he likes and noticed he didn’t want to eat as the day went he vomited 4 more times so in the morning I brought him to the hospital. After speaking to the doctor it seems he has serious blockage with a possibility of more issues with his bladder.

Picasso is one of the most loving members of the family and to me he is my emotional support animal, he always comes to comfort you when I am feeling depressed or stressed out . He knows just how to get anyone out of a sad or depressed mood whether it’s my wife, dog or a friend he will find his way to you and try to get you to smile. He is the alpha pet in the home yet he knows how to give love.
