Pierogi is a 5 year old Lionhead in Port Charlotte, FL, who needs $6,000 for Rhinostomy.

I met Pieroghi when I was working in our local animal shelter. Someone had left him outside the shelter in a dog crate in the rain. I was alerted there was a bunny left outside in a crate, I ran outside and brought him in and dried him up. He came home with me that night to foster and he never left. He has been by my side since then. He lives with 4 other bunnies as well, He is my heart.

Pieroghi has had a CT scan and has been diagnosed with having rhinoliths deep in his nasal cavity. They need to perform a rhinostomy in order to remove them as they are so deep and cannot be extracted any other way. He was seen at Blue Pearl in Clearwater Fl. This is the only medical hospital with the surgeon able to perform this operation.

Pieroghi is my little “puppy dog” bunny—he loves to lay at my feet and follow me around. He is the most loving rabbit, so full of life and personality, and he deserves the chance to live without this constant pain.

The cost of this surgery has been quoted at $6,026.48, and he will need another CT scan before the procedure which is another $2500.00. I have maxed out my Care Credit and have no other resources.
