I guess you could say Piggy adopted us. We already had a pack of a 3 so we were pretty full. But one day while playing with our other dogs we noticed something under my husband's truck. It was a puppy about 12 weeks old with no mother in sight. We posted her pics everywhere but no one claimed her. It was not hard to decide we were going to keep her, piggy was named and she became part of our pack.

Piggy is a smart puppy she uses the doggie door to go outside and potty on her own. She learned from her brothers super quickly! She has her very own dog bed which she sometimes shares with her little brother Stumpy. Of course, most nights it seems all 4 dogs in our bed, but we love it! Piggy is our only little girl and she is spoiled with the love she needs and deserves from us and her brothers.

Piggy is such a funny girl she kind of bounced instead of running. She is like a little kangaroo. Piggy is also a cuddle bunny, she loves being right up underneath her humans. But piggy is not a fan of thunder, the poor thing shakes, drools and hides under beds and blankets, it really stresses her out and I hate to see her go through this. Piggy is truly our little girl and we love her so much!

Today we found out our piggy is heartworm positive. We were advised by Thomasville Vet hospital In Thomasville, NC 27360 that it is going to be very expensive for treatment. The good news is she is level 1 1/2 so she should make a full recovery if we can get treatment. Our client ID # 9141 at the vet. We won't get billed again till her next treatment in December when she stays overnight again.

I am permanently disabled and on a fixed monthly income of social security. However, Piggy coming into my life is the best medication I could ever fine. Her love and affection is all I need, I paid the bill to get her home tonight on my credit card which is now maxed out.
