I adopted Pikachu from a friend because her toddler is allergic to dogs. From the first day I fell in love with Pika (her nickname). At first when she came to me she seemed scared, but it didn’t take long for her to feel comfortable and be part of the family.

Pika needs surgery, she has a lump in one of her ears, and also gingivitis and will need to have some teeth extracted, they won’t know how bad the gingivitis is until they do the X-rays. The name of the vet clinic is Vets in Vans, the name of the doctor is Tracy Huang.

Pika has a sweet disposition , she gets along with my other dog Toby, that I’ve had for eight years. She’s very friendly with people, and gets along with my roommate. She sleeps in her bed in my bedroom; she loves the outdoors, so I take her on daily walks and to the park at least once a week. I love Pika very much and she is very attached to me. She’s my devoted constant shadow.

I am a retired senior, and live off my social security benefits. This is an unexpected expense that would put me on a financial strain . It would mean a lot to have Pika healthy again so that we can enjoy many years together. She is my companion and she means a lot to me.
