About this campaign

Pinky Came to PAWS on July 30, 2023. She was a warehouse cat. A warehouse owner had to 20 cats live in his warehouse. There was an exchange ownership and the new owner wanted the cats out. The original owner worked with volunteers of the community to capture the cats and Pinky stayed with a temporary foster for 2-3 weeks. Pinky is in a large catio-style cage during recovery at our shelter.

Pinky is quiet and calm cat. She enjoys pets. She is in a large room where other cats explore one at a time, but she doesn't seem bothered by the other cats probably from being surrounded by numerous cats in a warehouse.

Pinky is such a sweet girl despite what her unknown history to us is, but we can see the physical injuries and scars she battled. She is an easy to handle cat for being in a less than usual home life. She also doesn't have most her teeth. The staff refer to as having a warrior-soul.

Pinky's left eye was going to need enucleation based on the communications and physical reports given by the warehouse owner. Her eye cavity was filled with infection.

Being a non-profit we rely on donations and grants to help the cats and dogs in our community. Animals are provided the base wellness health of exams and vaccinations, but sometimes the health of the animal requires dental work or enucleation.
