Piper is a 4-year-old Labrador in Clarksville, TN, who needs $2,000 for Acute Kidney Injury.

Our family has moved a lot. Once we got our first home it was time to get a puppy. Piper fell into our arms at the perfect time. She has always been a perfect dog. She never leaves mine or the kids side and is the most loyal animal I’ve ever met. She’s so spoiled and sleeps with me(on me) in my bed.

Piper is a staple in our home. When you come through the door she’s always there. I will forever compare any other pet to her because she sets the bar for what a good dog is. My kids are devastated without her home. Piper sits with my twins while they study and my daughter is her “girl”. At any time during the day I could ask Piper to find “girl” and off she goes. The house is empty.

Piper was special from day one. It’s like the universe matched us. She is so loving to anyone she meets. Piper has the most nicknames any dog can have! We all have something very special we call her from Diaper to Pinky to Big Boat.

On November 25 2023, Piper woke up vomiting uncontrollably. She also was bleeding from her rectum. She was diagnosed with acute hemorrhagic diarrhea syndrome. She became severely dehydrated and it affected her kidneys. She was being treated for acute kidney injury. She’s currently at Nashville Pet Specialists in Clarksville, Tn under the care of amazing doctors and support staff!

Having her home would mean having a complete family again. Her sister pup is depressed and is not eating. I can’t lose both of my dogs. We need her and she needs us. The amount of money they need is astronomical and I don’t want to give up on her. Please help me save her!
