About this campaign
I first met Piper when she was just 3 weeks old. She's been my partner in crime the last 8 years. She loves being outside finding new trails or stomping around in the snow. She's been by my side when we moved from Idaho to Texas. And then back to Idaho. I can't imagine an adventure with out her.
While visiting her doggo cousins at my moms house, Piper tore her CCL on both hind legs. The tear on her right leg is significant and the doctors at Prairie Animal Hospital say she needs surgery. She might eventually need surgery on her other leg but hopefully with a more conservative lifestyle we can prolong a second surgery.
Piper has overcome so much in her 8 short years. She powered through getting parvo as a puppy, pancreatitis from an unattended can of spam, and has thrived since being diagnosed with Addison's disease at 4 years old. I bring Piper to work with me and she has been dubbed the official mascot of the office. She greets everyone who comes in with a wiggle of her butt and a kiss on the cheek.
The reoccurring cost of the medication for Piper's Addison's disease has already put a strain on finances. With the unexpected need for surgery my budget has been pushed to its limit. Any help would be graciously accepted.
