We got our Piper as a puppy from a local farm. She has been with us a little over 4 years now. She is the dream dog of my husband and the dog I didn't know I wanted until we brought her home. We have another dog, Bailey. My hubby and I selected her name like we were picking out a baby. She is dearly loved by our whole family!

Piper LOVES to go for walks. She walks all over our town with me and she likes to go for hikes as we live near many hiking trails. Piper sleeps in our king sized bed with my husband, myself and her dog sister, Bailey. She takes up the most room! She LOVES fetch, eating and playing outside. I love cleaning and finding her fetch balls in the weirdest places! She's a cuddler, even though shes 85lbs.

Piper loves snow, which is good cause we get a lot. She loves to carry branches around the yard, even if they are 10x her size. She has no personal space boundaries at all which is hysterical when she's in our face. I have actually trained her to wipe her paws when she comes in the house! She likes to swim next to my kayak and sit fireside with us in the summer. There is so much more.

Piper has Canine Acanthomatous Ameloblastoma. The mass was removed once and then we had to wait and see what would happen. When it grew back our hearts sank. The vet has said she needs a Mandibulectomy, bilateral rostral. He assures us that with this she will readjust and have a normal quality of life, She is only 4. She has a lot of life left in her and more adventures to have.

This expense is sudden and more than anticipated. We own a small family business and are raising my two nieces. We have a vehicle that is on the edge and it is hard to stockpile any funds. We always find a way but this one is big. We need our girl.
