Piper didn’t have the best start in her first home. But that brought her into my life. I wasn’t looking for a dog but she stole my heart in an instant!
She was very scared of new people in the beginning but now she’s the life of the party!
She goes to work with me daily and all my customers adore her!!
She is always by my side, more of a child to me then a pet!

Piper suddenly became paralyzed in her rear end.
I was able to get her an MRI at Upstate Veterinary Hospital.
They were extremely concerned! She had very little feeling in her back toes so the MRI and back surgery were needed immediately!
The MRI showed a disc that had not just ruptured but exploded leaving pieces along 5 vertebrae! She needed urgent surgery with no guarantee of success.

Piper has been the most incredible part of my life. She goes to work with me every day and is my constant shadow. She has filled the void of not being able to have a child of my own, and is treated like one.
I get extremely anxious when she is not with me. She helps to keep me calm and grounded and make every part of my day brighter. I don’t know what I would do without this sweet little girl.

I work in sales, with the economy being like it is purse strings are tight. I keep my prices low to keep customers happy, but it makes small commissions. We recently moved closer to my parents so that was a bit of a financial hit, but worth it. Surgery hit hard.
