3 years ago Piper came into our lives right when we needed her. My grandmother had just passed away, we were living in a new city where we didn’t know anyone, and we wanted a companion for our other dog, Kevin. I had gone to a shelter “just to look”, and that’s when I met Piper. She instantly rolled on her back for belly rubs, and I knew she was coming home with us that day. As a stray from Tennessee with almost no background on her, we took a chance with Piper. She was quite the challenge at first, but over these last 3 years I couldn’t imagine a life without her. She loves to travel with us, visiting her grandpawrents in New Jersey, hiking, swimming, and mostly importantly, hunting. She has such a big personality for such a small dog, and we count our blessings every day she is ours!
