Piper had a rough start in life. After being rejected by her mother at birth, Piper came to me with her two sisters. She was tube fed, then bottle fed, and after surviving that, she had a serious reaction to a hernia repair and spay surgery and almost died as a result of allergies. Piper is a medical miracle in that she should not be here, but she's a fighter.

She loves her toys, and busy bones, and her family. She is a well adjusted pup that loves play, bath time, and outside time. Piper is a service animal that helps with my every day life. She is my rock, my best friend. She was meant to be a short term foster but when it came down to it, I could not give her up.

It means everything to me to have Piper the same pup that she always was. Even though I have other dogs, she is my best friend. I have been her mother since birth. She is my daughter, my baby. I hate seeing her suffer because of an emergency I can't afford.

Piper was fine, but then all of a sudden she got lethargic, throwing up, and she was urinating blood. She has been seen but I can not afford the cost of her visit, and I will not have any money for about a month. Yet it was a n emergency situation that she be seen at Animal Hospital of Milledgeville.

Piper is special in that she is a fighter. She has almost died multiple times and every time I have been able to afford it and get back on her feet. Now the one time that I can't, I took her in regardless because she is the light in my family's life. She brings joy to everyone that meets her. She does not meet a stranger and she loves everyone.
