Piper is a 5 year old American Pit Bull Terrier in Newville, PA, who needs $7,000 for Anti-Venom Infusions, Hospital Stay, and Wound Care.

Piper lives with her sister Maple and her Mom, Dad, and human brother. She is a huge cuddle bug and loves to spend her days observing the outdoors from the porch and keeping mom company while she works from home. She demands kisses and corn cobbing of her cheeks on a daily basis and is always ready for a snuggle.

Yesterday Piper got bitten twice in her face by a rattlesnake that had made its way into the yard undetected. She is currently admitted at Shores animal hospital in Harrisburg PA where she is receiving anti-venom and top notch medical care.

I rescued Piper at 4 1/2 weeks of age from some terrible people who were selling their puppies way too early. I spent the first few weeks with her sleeping in the recliner and making sure she was fed properly and felt safe and loved. She is a huge part of our family and she is currently fighting the venom to come home to us. We are all lost without her.

Pipers care is very expensive. Each vile of anti-venom is $1000 and so far she has had 2 vials with the possibility of needing a 3rd. I will do anything to make sure my girl is healthy and home with us. The emptiness of our home without her here is unbearable.
