About this campaign
Pipsqueak was born February 2nd 2023 in our home. Her mom had 8 kittens and her older sister sat in the whelping box with mom the entire labor helping out as her midwife and keeping the kittens clean and warm. my 10 year old daughter also sat by and helped out in the cuddles. She dried pipsqueak off and they have been best friends since day one.
Pipsqueak has been my middle daughters sidekick since the day she was born. She is the sweetest kitten ever! She lives with our family and her own parents, older sister and 3 brothers (all spayed and neutered now). She loves pets and making biscuits on anything soft (including us). She also enjoys bath time, but only when my daughter bathes her she fights anyone else.
She loves to make biscuits and likes baths when my daughter gives them to her. She loves to play with my daughter and allows her to play dress up. Her and her siblings literally chase the kids and each other from one end of the house to the other on any given evening.
Pipsqueak started acting lethargic last Sunday. She disappeared that day after sunning on the porch and we couldn't find her anywhere. Tuesday morning she was laying on the porch gasping for air. I rushed her to the emergency hospital and they rushed her back to run tests. She has an infection in her chest cavity that was putting pressure on her lungs. She has been in ICU since.
This was extremely unexpected. I got approved for care credit in the amount of 8100 but her being in ICU has depleted that amount in 2 days. The DR just put in a chest tube today that will cost me almost that much again to stay at least 48 more hours.
