Pisces is a 10-year-old Chihuahua in Westfield , NJ, who needs $1,400 for Dental Cleaning and Extraction.

I rescued Pisces from a high kill shelter in North Carolina. She was a former puppy mill mom and had been abused severely. The vet I brought her to upon taking her from the shelter doubted she would make it with the condition she was in and years of horrible neglect. I have had her for over 6 years.

Pisces has earned the nickname, "Lil Mom" because she's a little patrolling officer of the house. She is like another person in the house---she is not just a pet. She has been in every family holiday photo, goes to visit other family members' homes, and is a staple in the neighborhood . People love how little yet "big" her personality is. She is very much like a child.

Pisces runs the roost. She likes to sleep in and is not a morning person whatsoever. She also does the "flop" and will roll over and show her belly and smile when she tries to delay having to get up and start our morning ritual. She also barks every single time I call for my son, which is her way to help me call for him as well. That's why she's nicknamed Lil Mom!

Pisces needs dental cleaning and two teeth extracted. She has gotten bacterial infections from the teeth and I've been trying to find the lowest cost for the dental but have been quoted thousands. I have had to take her to the ERtwice for treatment and antibiotics but cannot wait much longer to do the dental.

I recently was rightsized by my employer with no notice, which means I've been layed off. I am a single mom with a disabled son and this dog is like another child to me. Please help me make her happy and healthy again. She means the world to us!
