Pita is a 15-year-old Terrier Mix in New York, NY, who needs $2,000 for Surgery.

Pita entered my husbands life in 2008. I met him in Thailand in 2009 and got to meet his wonderful little companion for the first time in June 2009 before her first birthday. I lived in Finland and my husband in France. I moved to France in 2011 and we finally got to have our whole little family together. She has been in our lives for 15 years and is the love of our lives.

We moved from Paris France to New York in August 2023 and she obviously followed us here. She loves long walks and absolutely loves to nap with her two master under a nice comfy blanket. Even though she is 15 years old she is still bursting with energy and jumps on our bed or couch for some snuggle time.

She is very cuddly with the people closets to her. She trust a 100% the people she loves the most. She is the most loyal and kind little dog and creates us so much happiness and brings light to our days.
She enjoys a nice roll on bed, couch or in her basket after a good meal and makes us laugh by making her place and covering herself with a blanket going for a good nap.

Pita has always been very healthy and doesn’t seem like a 15 year old dog. Since we arrived to New York she started to have a hard time to eat. She made us very worried and we ended up taking her to a vet. After more than a month of trying to figure out what was wrong, they found a mass in her small intestine. She will need a surgery at the Hospital of veterinary surgery in New York with Dr Kyles.

This surgery will is very unexpected. She might be needing chemo after. I am not currently working because of our move to a new country and my husband is the only financial support in the family. She is the light of our lives and we can’t bare the thought of loosing her.
