About this campaign
Pixie came into my life 12 years ago. She was a Mother’s Day gift from my daughter. Pixie is not only my dog she is my other daughter. She does have to cat brothers her own cat brother loves her even though she doesn’t like him.
Pixie sleeps with me every night on my bed. She has a nightly routine with my second oldest daughter she always has to lick her feet I don’t know why but she does and if she doesn’t let her then she will bark. She gets my attention by barking and sometimes she likes to talk back. She loves my oldest daughter.
Pixie means the world to me because my daughter that got her for me on Mother’s Day back in 2011 passed away two months later in a horrible car accident. Pixie was the best thing I ever got from my daughter before she passed. Pixie loves her bones. When I eat she loves to be rite next to me she looks up at me with those eyes and I want to give in but I cant
I took pixie to a clinic to get a checkup because she has a uti and is peeing blood but Found out in an accidental finding that pixie is in heart failure they gave her lasix to help but the supply is only for 10 days. They want me to continue treatment and take her to her regular vet. She goes to creature comforts animal hospital in Poughkeepsie NY.
I’m on a fixed monthly income. My daughter try’s her best to help me when she can but she having difficulty at this time to come up with money to pay her rent. Pixie still has life left in her and it would mean the world to me to get her the treatment so I can spoil her more
