Pixie is a 1-year-old Doberman pincher in Kapolei , HI, who needs $2,000 to save Pixie's leg .

Pixie entered my life when I needed her most. She was gifted to me from a friend. At this time I was at my lowest after having a heart attack, losing my job, being denied disability, and also being told I cannot work due to COVID 19 due to my health problems. She was there for me through it all. I’m hoping instead of amputation, she can get surgery “pins” in her leg.

Pixie is the heart of this family. She brings so much happiness and laughter into our family. If anyone is having a rough day, Pixie knows and she will comfort us, love us and kiss us even though she is the one who needs the most comfort now. Pixie is not just a pet, she is our family and we all love her. I’m hoping to raise enough funds to save her leg with surgery instead of an amputation.

She is my companion and goes with me everywhere. I would love to see her run without any pain or a splint on her. I had a heart attack in June and also COPD, which makes it hard for me to breath so I am unable to work at this time.

My baby Pixie broke her front left leg by her wrist. And during this time, her leg got infected so she needs to have it cleaned and re-wrapped every day to prevent it from be amputated. If the infection goes away, which I pray for, she will need to have a surgery to put pins in her leg to fix the bones.

She always wants to be with me which comforts me. She is my happiness. She does not let her pain get in the way of playing and making me laugh. She is truly a blessing.
