About this campaign
Pjs previous owners dropped him off on the side of the road on a cold rainy night at our farm where I found him crying. He was scared and cold when I found him. I took him inside and he slept on me all night knowing he was finally safe. Pj currently has 4 sisters and 1 brother who were also dropped off at our farm. They have access to the barn and spend most of their time lounging
When Pj is not in pain he is the sweetest cat. He would sleep wrapped around my neck every night. He enjoys playing with his siblings and watching the birds out the window. When he is in pain he will hide and is not himself, its hard to see him suffering. I want to help him anyway I can so he can be happy and enjoy his life. No animal should live a life of pain everyday
I love watching Pj jumps from one place to another. He stands up on his back legs for the longest time eyeing up his target of where he wants to land. it is the cutest. He will also get the zoomies where he runs all over the house like crazy. That makes me smile because I know at that moment in time he is pain free and is able to play and have fun and enjoy life
Pj has been diagnosed with perineal hernia which is very rare in cats at least that is what the vet told me. He is not able to have bowel movements on his own, it gets stuck right at his anus because of the hernia so I have to squeeze and push the stool through, which is very painful for him. He does bleed and cries out in pain, he lets me do it because he knows it needs done.
I have exhausted my funds taking him to multiple vets. Penn vet was the only place that was able to figure out what was happening. The surgery is expected to cost $5,500 to $6,500, I was able to secure the down payment by taking out a high interest loan.
