We rescued Pluto on Halloween in 2025 from a local shelter. He lives with my boyfriend, Clay, and I as well as his big sister Juno in our apartment. We thought Pluto would be the perfect name for him, with his appearance and the name also went well with his sister's name, they both combined Clay and I's passions for space and mythology.

Pluto was diagnosed with a congenital liver shunt. It is a rare condition where the liver can't properly filter out toxins in the bloodstream. This can lead to neurological issues, which can eventually lead to death. Pluto has been such a blessing for our little family. He is always finding ways to make us smile; whether that be sneak-attacking his sister, jumping into our arms from wherever he stands, or curling up with us on the couch for a movie night.
