Poe is a 2-year-old Husky in Florence , KY, who needs $1,700 for Tibial Plateau Leveling Osteotomy.

We just recently moved out of our apartment and are going to my moms so he’ll have a better recovery. My boyfriend and I have Poe, another dog named Caesar, a chinchilla and a spider that we love very much. I got Poe June 8th of 2021 and was so happy because huskies are said to be so goofy and loud and that’s exactly what he is and I wouldn’t trade him for anything. He’s like my kid

He’s very hyper he loves to bark and talk to you and he also enjoys playing with his older bro Caesar. Poe likes to bury food and he can excite pee at times but I was told huskies are stubborn so that’s been interesting to deal with. Poe is nice to everyone and loves to get all the attention. He enjoys other dogs unless they get too rough with him lol.

Poe is special because not only is he clingy but he’s so goofy and he bounces around like a rabbit and barks and he just has a completely different personality from any other dog I’ve had. He’ll throw a single piece of food in the air and play with it lol I’ve never seen a dog do that until I got Poe.

On 02/18/23 he was taken to our veterinarian and was told he most likely had an ACL tear. On 03/06/23 we got him into a veterinary specialist and they did the X-Ray on his left back leg and it was confirmed that is what he did.

Well as of today 03/11/23 I believe Poe tore his other ACL (has to be confirmed) I can only afford $2000 of the $5,113 surgery for the one leg. Not counting what is in store for what happened to his leg as of 03/11/23 I just want him to be his hyper self again. It hurts me
