Polo was surrendered to Camo Rescue after his owners discovered he had medical problems. He was born with a congenital defect called Screw tail, also known as 'ingrown tail' and 'corkscrew tail', it is a genetic abnormality, a fused tail vertebrae form a spiral curvature, which can cause excessive skin folds, (leading to infection) tail immobility, and anal obstruction. It was very painful for him to poop on his own, he suffered 5 long months ….Camo immediately got him to their vet Mercy Animal Clinic and arranged for the surgery to be done. He underwent surgery to fix the screw tail…. THEN it was discovered his penis was malformed also. So surgery was scheduled for that and he was neutered at that same time .

Polo is a goofy happy boy that loves to play with his foster frenchie brothers. He loves to play outside and roll in the grass. He loves his foster parents and loves snuggles.
