This sweet kitten was found alone in a yard in Queens after being struck by a car. A compassionate Good Samaritan rushed him to Puppy Kitty NYCity, where it quickly became clear that his injuries were far more severe than anyone had hoped.

Emergency X-rays revealed heartbreaking trauma. Pontoon Boat suffered a displaced fracture of his left femur, multiple pelvic fractures, and a left sacroiliac luxation that left him unable to properly use his back legs. He was also found to have blood in his urine, significant bruising, and swelling from the impact.

Despite everything he has endured, Pontoon Boat has remained incredibly brave throughout his hospitalization. He has already undergone emergency diagnostics, pain management, and around-the-clock supportive care, but his journey is far from over. Veterinary specialists have determined that he urgently needs orthopedic surgery to repair his shattered leg and stabilize his injuries, giving him the best chance at living a normal, pain-free life.
