About this campaign

On July 21, 2018 he walked into my yard and he was very skinny, hungry, and flea infested. I posted him on Facebook to see who he belonged to and went to the local shelter and vet to see if he was chipped or if his owners was looking for him. No one came forward so we kept him.

He’s a very laid back, loving dog. He loves to eat, he loves doggie cookies and snacks. He hates bath time. He loves to be comfortable on his bed. He likes to sit outside and sunbathe. He loves to engage with the other dogs.

He’s a sweetheart. He gives the Pitbull breed a great name. He’s kind. He makes me so happy and he’s my big baby. He runs through the house like a robot. I call him my little robot. He’s blessed us since the day he walked into our yard as a stray. The DoDo did a story on him a couple years ago. They were impressed with his story.

He has been to our vet and an emergency vet. The emergency vet Cypress Lake Animal hospital discover what was wrong he has an obstruction in his stomach and the surgery to removed it is estimated between $5700 and $6300. I cannot afford this and I do not want to euthanize Poppy because I cannot afford the surgery. He’s apart of our family.

My family doesn’t have an emergency fund or a savings account that we have money saved up. We live from Pay check to paycheck and just do not have the $6300.
