Poppy is a 8 month old Yorkshire Terrier in Clearwater, FL, who needs $2,000 for Femoral Head Ostectomy.

We got Poppy from a breeder, we drove 5+ hours to pick her up from the breeder to bring her home. She is the sweetest and loving. She is not scared of our toddler, they love playing together.

Unfortunately Poppy was injured somehow by possibly jumping off of something too high. She now needs to have surgery because of how she was injured and will not heal appropriately. She will have a limp forever even with surgery but will reduce pain in daily activities. We are deeply saddened by this unpredictable situation.

Poppy loves chasing balls and fetching her toys. She also loves running around playing with our son. We take her everywhere with us that we can so she is not at home alone. She loves new people and getting out.

This was an unexpected accident and we are strapped for funds. We have been playing catch on bills since the 2 hurricanes we had here in Florida. It would mean so much and we would forever be grateful for any assistance financially to get her surgery.
