Poppy seed aka Pop tart is the maine coon kitten of our dreams, she turns 1 year on 4/6. In a first time home with two large dogs, she would set the pace for future cats to come & did so with ease. Poppy adores her big dogs, Pancake + Kiwi, and her little brother Slim Jim. Wherever you are, so is Poppy: the front door, the fridge, the shower, & more. Tiny but fluffy, this lady leads the crew.

Poppy was almost perfectly normal until about two weeks ago when her breath pattern began to change. We took her in to find she was in a "stable emergency" which meant oxygen and xrays to start. Many possibilities were thrown around but overnight care at BluePearl Vet in Appleton, WI was crucial. From possible pneumonia to heart failure to asthma.. back to the box she went while more tests ran.

Poppy is always present and up for most anything. She is the first to greet us when we walk in the door, comes when called, & plays with her pack beautifully. This girl adores running water, snacks, spring toys, & waiting for the dogs when they're outside/kenneled. She may not meow but her chirps are the sweetest sound. She loves chin scratches, ear tuft rubs, + having us wrapped around her paw.

We are 1st time homeowners working to repair the house to keep our pack comfortable & her spay was in the budget, but not this. We are on night 2 of hospital care to try and find a long term solution in Poppy's best interest considering she has so much life & fight to give..
