About this campaign
Poppy was being offered for free on Facebook and was covered in fleas when we got her. I gave her a flea bath, flea treatment and fully vetted her. She was the most snuggly kitten ever! She was spayed earlier this year and is fully up to date on her shots (as are all of our animals in our home). We live and care for our pets as if they are our kids. She is one of two cats we have and we adore her.
Poppy initially slept in my 10 yo’s room with them right in their pillow. Then after her spay, she likes to hang with my 14yo. Now, we have since upgraded our cat equipment and she LOVES the cat tree we got a few months back. She and her sister, Willow love sleeping in the clean clothes baskets in the living room. She is the loudest purrer I have ever heard and we love it!!
Poppy is special because she has a unique look to her. We call her grumpy cat 2.0! She is so ugly she’s cute and her face seems too big for her small body but somehow it fits her! Her facial expressions are so funny and cute!!
Our cats are indoor cats. As mentioned previously, she is fully up to date on her shots, and spayed. I have filled out a form for her to be seen at pittsford Animal hospital but also plan on calling arm veterinary hospital in henrietta as well to try to get her seen tomorrow (10/07/23). About a week or two ago, she was bloated and having diarrhea. Bloat is back and worse!
We are a one income family of five and bulls are a struggle as it is. My husband lost his job in May and we went through our savings until he got a new job at the end of June. We didn’t have much saved up due to expenses caring for my elderly, disabled parent.
