Hello, I'm in the mountains of northern California where the internet works when the weather is good. It's a challenge to say the least. So I appologize. I can't seem to upload pictures or video today. However Poppy is a beautiful Cairn Terrier female 5 years old. She has pyometra. Needs immediate surgery & spayed to save her life.

We have been to the veterinarian VCA Asher Hospital in Redding Ca. She was diagnosed & when I was told the cost of $2000.00. I explained I'm recently unemployed. I haven't any money. Even thought I work for Pacific Bell since I was 17. I never received any financial aid or child support. The little savings I had are exhausted. My kids are grown and gone now. So it's just me and Poppy.

I had Pippi Longstocking, Pookie and Puppette. A nick named seemed from puppy. However you can see. I have had Pippi, Poppy, Pookie, Puppette. Pippi & Pookie came with their names. They were a few years old when I got them. They are gone now. Buried under the apple tree.

Poppy's registered name is California Poppy. Which is a name from my granddaughter who was 2 years old when we got Poppy at 8 weeks old. She was trying to say puppy. But it came out sounding like Poppy. So that's the name that she got. Super funny since I have had other cairns in the past. All silly names.

Poppy was diagnosed with a uterine infection called Pyometra.I took Poppy home with antibiotics. Even though I was told she won't live more than a couple weeks at most without surgery. I promised I will bring her back as soon as I can get the money to pay for her surgery. So I'm applying to donations & family for help. I have never asked for anything before. It's difficult to know where to start.
