Portia is a 12-year-old Yorkshire Terrier in Ventura, CA, who needs $1,600 for dental treatment.

Portia was given away from a family friend. She was around two years old and my very first one. Portia was very active and energetic. I call her "Speedy Gonzales". Portia was a barker. Because she' was my only for almost 7 years she was spoiled brat. Portia receives all the attention and very happy dog. She very good around kids and around people.

Portia loves to run. She's small but mighty. She is well known for being a big dog in a little dog’s body and she's not quite when sees a big dog. She's been trained doesn't bite and not good in toys for sure. She's always love attention, arrogant attitude and can be overly jealous and protective . Portia very loving affectionate.

It makes me me smile because Portia is afraid of thunder and the car wiper. I clearly remember when we were driving and it rained and thunder she ran under my feet while I was driving. Oh my God thankfully I was driving slow. She's never played in any toys but likes t-shirts and grooming. She was not afraid of water when I gave her a bathe.

Portia has been spine problem and took her to the Vet and paid that on my own. This time Portia needs help in her teeth as they were all bad. I took her to the Vet and gave me estimate for the procedures. Portia is still very much strong and hoping to get her teeth done to alleviate some pain and have healthy remaining life.

I work full time however I am supporting my sick mother. My budget can't support other expenses outside my regular budget as I barely spend any on my personal needs.
