Posey is a 10-year-old Siberian. He is my emotional support animal and I’ve had him since he was 8 months old and I was his second owner. Whoever had him before ME had his front claws removed and must’ve abused him because he’s terrified of anybody that’s not me, he is an indoor kitty who doesn’t go outside because he’s terrified of everything.

The last couple of days, his right backside has been puffy and swollen and anytime I touch it. He meows and growls and hisses at me. He’s eating and drinking, but he has liquid diarrhea and a fever. I took his temperature and it’s 6° warmer than my other kitties. I haven’t had a chance to take him to the vet yet because I don’t have the money to do it.

He loves me and he loves my mom, but we’re the only people that he does like. He’s just scared of everybody. He thinks everyone’s going to hurt him. Anytime I touch him he growls and hisses at me and I can just tell he doesn’t feel good and I just don’t know what to do.

I’m currently on unemployment and I don’t have a job and I only get so much money from unemployment and it barely covers my bills and I just don’t have the resources to take them to the vet and I just don’t want him to suffer. And I can tell that he’s in pain he’s crying
