For most of his life, Post knew only neglect.

This senior Beagle is one of the dogs rescued from Ridglan Farms by Saving Sage Animal Rescue Foundation. Like so many dogs from this facility, Post arrived with significant medical needs that had gone untreated for years. One of the most serious issues was his dental health.

A recent veterinary visit revealed extensive dental disease that was causing Post pain and discomfort. The damage was so severe that veterinarians had no choice but to remove 15 teeth. While the procedure was necessary, it was also a reminder of just how long Post had been living without the care every dog deserves.

The good news is that Post is now recovering and finally getting the medical attention he has needed for years. With his painful teeth removed, he can begin to enjoy life with greater comfort and a better quality of life as he lives out his new life.
