Precious is a 12-year-old Staffordshire Terrier in Deltona, FL, who needs $1,700 for Surgical Mass Removal.

Precious came into my life through a good friend of mine named Carmine. She was a puppy when I got her and she suffered from a burn on her back. I took her in to nurse her back to health (to do a favor for my friend) and then I ended up keeping her. Precious lives with me in a loving home. I have taken care of her very well. She has had many years of long walks, spring water, etc.

Precious' life in my household includes the company of Dixie, a Jack Russell chihuahua mix. She interacts well with Dixie and other dogs as well as people. She has a very sweet nature and is always there to greet me or anyone else. She has a very good disposition about her and is quiet and loving.

I am currently unemployed since the company I worked for shut down due to the pandemic. It would mean the world to me for Precious to have this needed surgery. I love her very much.

Precious has been diagnosed with a fatty tumor on her belly area. The vet recommends that surgery be performed to remove her tumor. In the meantime I have given her antibiotics and been manually treating the affected area with an antifungal antibacterial prescribed medication (this is in the form of a medicated pad).

Precious is special because of her sweet nature. She is and has always been a loving dog. She also has a sense if you are not feeling well or something is bothering you and is quick to come up to you and give you comfort. Precious has unique facial expressions and can be stone faced as well as curious.
