Precious is a 8-year-old Terrier Mix in Fort Worth, TX, who needs $1,250 for bladder surgery, for cystotomy.

Precious has been with our family for 8 years and was purchased from the pound after being found in an abandoned building with her 2 siblings. Out of her 2 siblings, she was the most outgoing and this is the reason that she was chosen; as I had a young rambunctious son at the time. Precious was a great fit for my family.

Precious lives in the home with my son and me. She is very active, loves to be outside, and will attempt to escape when given the opportunity. She loves her mother and truly believes that her brother is her brother, as she is always competing with him for attention. She is truly loved and is a great addition to the family.

Precious's surgery is estimated to cost $1,250 and I am unable to afford this at the time, but it would mean a lot to my son and me to have her back to her old self.

Precious began urinating blood and was taken to a veterinarian. It was found that she had an infection and kidney stones that require surgery. She was taken to Animal Clinic of Forest Hill in Forest Hill, Texas. The veterinarian (a female) is great. Her infection has been cleared, she's on a special diet, and now she needs surgery.

I think Precious thinks she's human....lol. She runs faster than my son, but don't tell him that. She does not get along with other dogs and looks at them as if she is not one of them. She is very active and has an I'm better than you attitude. She is truly loved and is a great addition to the family.
