Cat Needs Emergency Care After Apartment Fire

Preciousa is a friendly cat who was found wandering the city streets with her kittens. Whiskers Rescue provided a TNR voucher to her caretaker, who ended up adopting her. In this city, if you feed cats, they are considered owned and will not be picked up as stray, so she adopted mom but was unable to find homes for her babies.

On the night of July 5th tragedy struck for a family who was caught with 13 other cats in an apartment fire. Preciousa suffered from inhalation burns, smoke inhalation, and related neurological issues. She spent days at VEG in Clifton NJ on oxygen.

Preciousa is not just owned by one woman but an entire family with four children who love her dearly. She is out of emergency care but will require follow up care. Your donation — no matter the amount — helps cover her medication, vet visits, and daily care.
