I met Prince through Jeff. He became my friend, and he had to be hospitalized for months. I am a human trafficking victim, and mentally I wasn't doing so well. I felt like a freak, like everyone knew, ashamed, dirty, and I was thinking of suicide. Prince loved me back to life-took every step I did, he always gave me snuggles, and it was like he felt my pain. He saved my life; now its my turn.

Prince is an inside dog and is always on a leash is he goes outside. Jeff had taken him outside and a 5 pit bulls attacked him. This created a large knot on his neck, but we thought it was just from the force of Jeff pulling him out of reach of these dogs. Over time, the knots are more like lumps and feel like rocks-one is huge; it's like a boulder. He goes to Animal Medical Clinic in Bristol

Prince loves both Jeff and I so much. He can destroy the toys they claim are indestructible and fast! He has never liked his picture taken and he gets mad if I look at my phone while he is getting his loving! He wants all my attention, and I wish life would slow down so I could give it all to him. He loves to go for rides and take walks and still tries to play but is short of breath/coughs.

I lost my job unexpectedly on 3/25/25 and have not gotten my 1st unemployment payment even though I am approved. I start a new job but training does not begin until 5/9/25. Jeff is on disability and his check is right at $900 a month. We just don't have the funds.
