Princess is a 8-year-old Chihuahua in Coldwater, MI, who needs $2,000 for Dental Extractions and Removal of Mass in Mouth.

I work in a hospital emergency room registration. I have gotten to know the rug guy who came every Friday to change out the rugs. One day he asked if I knew of anyone who wanted two Chihuahuas. I asked him why, what's up? He said he was moving and they were going to have to take them to the kill shelter if he couldn't find anyone to take them. I couldn't let him do that, so I took them.

We currently have three dogs and two cats. Princess gets along with all the animals and people that she comes in contact with. She loves me the most and she follows me everywhere I go, even in the garden she is by my side.

She makes me smile. When I get upset, she paws at me to pay attention to her and tries to cheer me up. She does cute moves to get my attention also. She may be 9 years old but she still acts like a puppy when she gets her treats. She will take it and run into the other room like she just got a new toy.

I have had her for about 4 years now and for the most part she has been healthy. Starting back in Nov of she started having diarrhea and it looked like there was blood in her stools. I called the vet and they gave me a remedy and it worked. Now since Jan she started to get welts on her neck and the first one got so big that the vet had to lance it and a bunch of puss and blood came out.

I have a full time job however like most people, I live from paycheck to paycheck. I am also getting ready to have surgery myself and will be on disability. Soon after having my first surgery, I will have to have a total shoulder replacement due to two falls that I had.
