Princess is a 12-year-old Pit Bull in Decatur, GA, who needs $1,750 for thoracotomy and chemotherapy.

I adopted Princess was she was 6 months old. I live alone and she has become my best friend and family. I am visually impaired and wanted a companion dog. She helps protect me. She is with me all the time and is a very tame dog. I love her like a mother loves her child. To me she is my baby, she is my furbaby.

Princess loves being at home and tagging along for any work that I am doing around the house. She is very friendly with my neighbor's kids and is like a big kid herself. She loves to run around the yard and go to the park. Her best time of the day is when we settle in after dinner to watch a movie or binge watch Netflix. She loves to lay her head in my lap and go to sleep.

I am visually impaired and on SSI. I work part-time in retail as of right now. I am unable to work full time due to health issues. It will mean the world to me to have Princess healthy again and able to live life to the fullest. She is my whole world. Your help means a lot.

Princess has Stage 1 Mammary Carcinoma Cancer. She is being treated at BluePearl Pet Hospital under the care of Brolin Evans, DVM, DACVIM (Oncology). The surgery to remove the tumor and chemotherapy afterward will save her life. She has had other surgeries in the past but has never been this ill. It would mean the world to me to help her.

Princess loves it when we have visitors at home. She loves to snuggle up to new people and be the center of attention. She is a great companion and has helped me through some very rough years. I have lost my parents recently and Princess was a great comfort to me. I don't have any children and never married, so she is my whole world. I love her dearly and can't bear to think that she is sick.
