Princess is a 12-year-old chihuahua in Derby, CT, who needs $300 for a routine vet visit.

I recently adopted princess from my boyfriend’s grandmothers friend. She told me to take princess she no longer wanted her. Told me it was either me or the shelter for her. She is 12 years old & has been locked up in a cage everyday. She came from an abusing owner. Princess has never been to a vet.

Princess loves people, when I first brought her home to my mom and my brother she loved them following all over the house & licking them. She loves jumping up & down, almost like dancing it’s cute. When she gets her belly rubbed she just licks away. She also gets along with my neighbors dog when she goes out.

I do not have enough money to afford for Princess to go to the vet. I do not have enough income coming in to fix her. I hope that I can be able to find someone to help me out with princess. She has been is a cage for most of her life & I want her to be able to be happy now.

Princess has never been to a vet in her life. She is having issues with her front paw when walking. She also has issues jumping even if it’s a little jump she has balancing issues with her legs. She also has a cut on her face, near her eye. I do not know what happened but I believe it is an cut or scratch.

Princess follows me everywhere I go in the house. No matter if it’s in the kitchen, laundry room, the living room she’s always beside me. It makes me happy she loves to move around. She loves to sleep in my room at night with me right beside my bed, I have a little bed for her. She loves it I can tell.
