Princess is a 14 year old Quarter Horse in El Cajon, CA, who needs $3,000 for Gastroesophage Reflux.

She was originally taken to a rescue from an abandoned inbred farm. I found her through my friend who ran the rescue. It was immediately apparent that she was my horse. She came home to me and since then she has grown into the most wonderful horse anyone could ever ask for. We have created such a unique bond. Losing her would leave me absolutely devastated. I have made myself sick worrying so much

Princess had a colic episode on Friday (01/03), and basically recovered from it, but was having no movements as well as no eating or drinking. We had thought maybe she didn’t pass the colic. We called the er vet out again and they treated her again and added IV fluids. Monday, she dropped her head, and we knew to go to SanLuis Rey Equine Hospital. They have found a stomach bug and some acid reflux

Princess has 2 of her favorite friends, Cowboy & Ash. They watched over and took care of her while we tried to figure out what was happening with her. She is such a love bug, though. She gets along with any person or animal that comes her way. She is gentle, kind, and loving. She is such a friendly girl and loves with her whole heart.

I am disabled and have been struggling to work. She is my service animal but also my best friend. Princess has saved my life, and has truly kept me on this earth for much longer than I ever thought.
