About this campaign

Princess was given to me as present 8 years ago she was part of a litter that my boyfriend's nephew had accidentally bred between two rescue chihuahuas. She's been an integral part of our Lives since then. We currently live in a RV park where she has a lot of room to run and play with her brother are Miniature Dachshund Tucker. She has been in really good health up until now. She is also listed as my emotional support animal for when I travel on airplanes or trains or buses. She is the sweetest most loving little princess you would ever meet. Her first trip to this particular vet they all fell in love with her because she was such a little lady even when they stuck a needle into the mass on her stomach and got some cells for testing.

Princesses been in really good health up until December of 2023 when we noticed a small lump on her stomach. By mid-march the love had grown considerably and in April started changing colors. My husband applied for the Care Credit Card so that we could take her to the Veterinary Clinic and find out what the lump was. We took her to the Inner City Veterinary Hospital in Everett Washington and they didn't exam and Drew some cells from the from the mass and called us two days later to tell us that she has cancer. We then took her in for an x-ray see if the cancer had spread to her lungs or her organs and luckily it had not. Next we took her to get a blood test done to see if she is healthy enough to survive the surgery needed to remove the mass and have it tested to find out how aggressive is cancer is. The prognosis from what I understand is very good that they can remove this Mass and it's surrounding tissues and that she will be her normal happy healthy beautiful loving self afterwards.

Princess is a beautiful loving dog and she has many friends among which are my own miniature dachshund Tucker my daughters Chihuahua Dachshund mix miles and my other daughters two very large dogs who treat her as though she is the princess that she is. When we first got her we brought her up from Nevada where she lived the first 6 months of her life at our nephew's house and the day we got her up here it snowed and she had never seen snow before and she and Tucker went out and just ran around like little crazy people in the snow playing and having fun so the next year when it snowed we thought she would be okay with it but it's not quite a bit deeper and although my boyfriend Jesse had created paths for them to run around on she decided to go off the path and ended up in snow that was over her entire body. She then immediately jumped back on to the path and cleared at us like it was our fault that the snow is deeper there but after that they ran around in the deep snow like little crazy people and had a blast. Her favorite game is chasing her brother Tucker around as he runs around chasing Daddy it's quite funny to watch. I have four grandsons and they all adore her one of my grandsons is autistic and nonverbal but he allows her to sit beside him and he has recently begun petting her and she's just loving it she will go and lean up against him but she's careful not to lick him or try to force him to pet her as she does she will stick her nose under your hand and push on it until you start petting her she's very persistent. She doesn't play with toys per se she has never had any interest in them but she does play with the other dogs and she chases them around and then snarls at them when they try to chase her because that is against the rules. She is not a vocal dog except on her last trip out at night she will run out as fast as she can and bark at the nothingness that is out there and it doesn't matter where we're at if we're at my home or if we're at my daughter's home or if we're camping somewhere she will run out just barking her little head off and then come in all innocent as if nothing had happened at all. I don't know what else I can tell you about her except for that I love her so very very much and she is one of the best things that ever happened to me having her with me has helped me to come out of my depression and has helped me to have a new outlook on my life. Her birthday is June 1st which is coming up and it has been the most wonderful 8 years because she has been in our lives. I don't know what we would do without her.

We need financial help because I am on Social Security disability and my boyfriend Jesse is retired and between the two of us her surgery is more than our monthly income. He did apply for the Care Credit Card which is now maxed out from the first three visits to the vet. We don't have very many resources we live in a motorhome which is so old that we can't even use it for collateral to get a loan. It would mean everything to myself and to Jesse and my family to have princess healthy again. When I found out that she had cancer my heart broke because I cannot imagine being without her.
