About this campaign

For 17 years, Priscilla has filled the lives of those around her with love, comfort, and plenty of sass. This beautiful Siberian/Maine Coon mix has already overcome incredible challenges in her lifetime, but today she is facing her toughest battle yet—a pituitary brain tumor that is stealing her ability to walk and threatening the precious time she has left.

When Priscilla suddenly collapsed and could no longer stand, her devastated mom rushed her to emergency veterinarians and specialists at NC State Veterinary Hospital. After extensive testing, Priscilla was diagnosed with vestibular ataxia caused by a pituitary tumor. For a moment, it seemed like everything might be over.

Thankfully, steroids have helped reduce the swelling around the tumor, allowing Priscilla to walk again and bringing back glimpses of the feisty, affectionate cat her family knows and loves. But this improvement is only temporary. The medication eases her symptoms—it cannot stop the tumor from growing.

Now, Priscilla urgently needs stereotactic radiation therapy, a highly targeted treatment designed to attack the tumor while protecting the surrounding healthy brain tissue. Her veterinary specialists believe this offers her the best chance for more quality time with the person who loves her most.

The cost of treatment is overwhelming. After contributing everything she can, receiving help from family, and securing a generous grant from Paws 4 A Cure, Priscilla's mom is still facing $7,585.75 in veterinary expenses she simply cannot cover alone.

Priscilla has proven she's a fighter before. She previously conquered hyperthyroidism through radioactive iodine therapy and returned to living a happy, healthy life. Her family refuses to give up on her now while there is still hope.

Priscilla came into her mom's life when she was at risk of losing her home and being surrendered to a shelter. Instead, she found a family who promised to love her forever. Through life's happiest moments and its hardest days, Priscilla has been a constant source of comfort, filling every day with gentle purrs, playful antics, and unconditional love. Now she needs that love returned.

Your donation will help give Priscilla access to the life-saving radiation therapy she desperately needs. Every gift—no matter the size—brings her one step closer to treatment and the chance for more cherished memories with the family who adores her.

Please donate today to help give Priscilla the opportunity to keep fighting. If you're unable to give, sharing her campaign with friends and family can make an incredible difference. Together, we can help this remarkable senior cat receive the care she deserves before time runs out.
